Katie Smith joined ACLS in 2013 as a program assistant in the Office of Fellowships and Grants. In 2016 she moved to the Office of International Programs, serving first as a program associate and, as of July 2018, as coordinator of international programs. In this role, she helps coordinate all matters relating to the international programs office, including fellowship and grant competitions, special events, and meetings, both in the United States and abroad. Smith received her BA in political science from Hofstra University in 2013, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society
