March 14 is Humanities Advocacy Day

March 14 is Humanities Advocacy Day! A record-breaking number of humanities advocates will be in Washington, DC on Tuesday, meeting with hundreds of members of Congress to make the case for federal funding for the humanities.

The ACLS is partnering with the National Humanities Alliance to make clear to Congress that we oppose all efforts to eliminate funding for the National Endowment for the Humanities

Please consider joining the effort by calling your members of Congress. Calls from constituents will bolster the message of those on the Hill.

Click here to be patched through to your Senators’ and Representative’s offices. The system will not start making calls until you are ready, and it will provide a script if you would like one.

Please spread the word about Humanities Advocacy Day and follow the action on social media at #HAD17.

Thanks in advance for your help!
