Subtle Self-Knowledge

This course builds upon current research in philosophy and experimental psychology, as well as drawing on writings and practices from the Zen Buddhist tradition, to deepen our account of how we may know those aspects of ourselves that are not immediately open to introspection. This work challenges current academic paradigms while offering novel ways in which to effect personal transformation.
