Abstract
This study focuses on the relationships of exchange among each region through analysis of Western Zhou bronze inscriptions. These inscriptions illuminate types of "state borders" and methods of passage during the Western Zhou period, which provide insight on the types of "state border" and methods of passing boundaries in early China. Collaboration with Professor Shaughnessy at the University of Chicago facilitates analysis and interpretation of these bronze inscriptions.
