Elizabeth Anderson F’13 and Emily Wilson F’05 Join Growing List of ACLS Fellows to Receive MacArthur Award
ACLS congratulates University of Michigan, Ann Arbor philosopher Elizabeth Anderson and University of Pennsylvania classicist Emily Wilson on being named two of this year’s MacArthur Fellows. Click here to read more.
Anderson and Wilson join a group of 42 distinguished scholars who are recipients of both ACLS and MacArthur awards. As the following list of these awardees shows, ACLS funding often represents an early investment in the careers of scholars whose path-breaking work will go on to win other prestigious awards. In addition to the ACLS fellowship and grant recipients, a number of other members of the ACLS community, including former ACLS Board of Directors chair Susan McClary and former board member Thomas Cleveland Holt, have received the MacArthur Fellowship.
