Position Description

Majdal, the Arab Community Center (“Majdal Center”), located near San Diego, California, seeks to empower all members of the Arab community with a focus on refugees and new immigrants. Through services, programs, and campaigns, Majdal Center’s mission is to uplift Arab youth, workers, families, and elders in their pursuits and to support them in overcoming whatever social, economic, and political challenges they may face. The Advocacy and Campaigns Manager will be responsible for conducting research on community needs and existing policy gaps, and devising and implementing advocacy strategies and campaigns aimed at addressing key issues affecting the Arab community, namely education, housing, and health access.
