ACLS President Joy Connolly authored a chapter in the new book The Arts of Leading: Perspectives from the Humanities and the Liberal Arts (Georgetown University Press). The book, edited by Edward Brooks and Michael Lamb, reveals the power of the arts and humanities to unsettle common assumptions about leadership and offer new contexts. Connolly’s chapter is titled “Conversant Leadership: Ciceronian Ideas for Our Precarious Age.”
