Position Description

Hand in Hand: The Domestic Employers Network (HIH) is a national organization that organizes to win domestic worker rights and fair labor practices in the home. They organize people who employ domestic workers—nannies, house cleaners, and home attendants—to fight for policy changes that bring equity to workers as well as address access to care and caregiver shortages. The Research and Organizing Manager will be part of Hand in Hand’s employer organizing and education team, working to gather, analyze, and synthesize data to document evolving domestic employer practices. The fellow will work to incorporate data analysis in relationship to Hand in Hand’s organizing and employer education work—in particular surrounding local and national Domestic Worker Bills and Rights and the implementation of those policies.
