Heather Mangrum

Heather Mangrum is the Director of Communications. Heather brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing, PR, and digital and traditional communications strategy. Most recently, she served as Managing Director of Communications with the Drug Policy Alliance. Prior to that, she established and led communications teams at International House and Helen Keller International, visiting programs in Africa, Asia and the United States to capture assets and success stories illustrating the impact of the work. Her experience also includes successful tenures with The Center for Arts Education, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, as well as Rolling Stone magazine. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Communications from Washington & Lee University and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
