Kim Williams-Pulfer, a 2021 ACLS Leading Edge Fellow, is profiled in The Tribune, a daily newspaper in Nassau, The Bahamas. She discusses her connection to her birthplace in The Bahamas, her journey as a scholar, and her community-building work, including serving as a board director for the One Eleuthera Foundation (OEF).
I was drawn to the study of philanthropy, civil society and the third sector because I sense its force in my own life and in my understanding of my identity, especially growing up in The Bahamas and as a Black woman.
